Junior Programs

1 - Tackers

An entry level program for kids aged 7-12. Learn the basics of sailing in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

Tackers Intro: An introduction to sailing with the opportunity to upgrade to Tacker 1 once your child is hooked
Tackers 1: Have fun and learn the basics on Lake Alexander
Tackers 2: Progress skills and have fun sailing on Fannie Bay
Tackers 3: More skill progression whilst building on the confidence

2 - Development Squad (Green)

Green Fleet: For confident sailors ready for the next step. Develop technique, boat handling and race smarts in a fun and encouraging environment. Kids move into a Minnow, boats can be chartered from the NT Minnow Association.

3 - Development Squad (Intermediate)

Intermediate Fleet: For young sailors who love a challenge. Advance your racing skills, tactics and performance in a supportive team environment. Kids are expected to participate in club racing & require their own boat (Minnow).

Adventure Club

An exciting, adventure-filled experience designed for children aged 7-12 offering a variety of fun adventures. A great way for kids to explore new activities and enjoy the outdoors during the school break. A variety of water sports and games are offered.

Schools

We offer a variety of programs tailored for both Primary School & High School groups. Programs are delivered at Fannie Bay & Lake Alexander depending on the activities and group sizes. DSC is a registered Sporting Schools Provider.
