Fynn Goat Achieves 9th in the World at Youth Big Air Championships

Darwin youth sailor and kiteboarder Fynn Goat has just returned from St. Peter-Ording, Germany, where he competed in the Youth Big Air World Championships—the first event of its kind.
Fynn had a strong start, progressing straight into Round 3 on day one. Despite tricky wind conditions affecting his second heat, he regrouped and delivered a confident performance on day two, narrowly missing a place in the semi-finals. His efforts secured him an impressive 9th place world ranking in the U16 Boys Big Air division.
This result builds on a standout year for Fynn, which has already included podium finishes at the Australian Nationals and his selection into the Next Gen Wing Foil program with the Queensland Academy of Sport.
