An exciting, all-girls sailing and water sports program designed to bring together young women (ages 10–17) in a fun, social environment at the Darwin Sailing Club. Led by a skilled instructor, this program is all about empowering girls to explore the water their way.
Overview
Whether you're new to the water or already love being on it, this program is the perfect opportunity to make friends, learn new skills, and build confidence in a supportive community. Participants will get the chance to:
Sail on the stunning waters of Darwin
Try stand-up paddleboarding & kayaking
Learn to drive a powerboat
Experience the thrill of foiling
Explore other fun water-based activities
Course Outcome
Participants will achieve the standards of either OutThere Sailing 1, 2, or 3 and have had a lot of FUN with friends!
We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here.
SACE Credits
Out There Sailing 3 (OTS3) is a recognised Community Program by the SACE Board. Participants that gain the OTS3 certificate can use this certificate to gain 10 Stage 1 credits. Chat to your instructor to understand what skills you need to work on.
