Course Overview
This course aims to provide children aged 13-18 with an affordable way to develop their skills on the racecourse. This program is delivered by Australian Sailing in conjunction with the ILCA NT Association.
Pre-requisites:
- Completed Youth Fleet (at least one full season)
- Ideally completed Youth Sail NT
- Access to your own ILCA
What to Bring:
- Stinger ProtectionÂ
- Closed Toe ShoesÂ
- Sun ProtectionÂ
- Water Bottle
NO STINGER PROTECTION = NO SAILING
What to Expect:
Families are responsible for rigging, de-rigging and launching their children. Sailors should be rigged & ready to sail by 4.30pm. Boats will be off the water by 6.30pm.
This program covers both GREEN FLEET & INTERMEDIATE FLEET. Sailors may be grouped by ability to ensure everyone gets the most out of each session. There will be 2 x coaches on the water providing a ratio of approximately 5:1.
